Psychotherapeutic Counselling & Supervision

Life may look perfectly manageable from the outside while feeling very different on the inside.

Counselling offers a space to slow things down, talk openly and begin to understand what may be happening beneath the surface.

You may be getting on with work, relationships and everyday life, but find yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, dissatisfied or stuck. Perhaps something has happened that has unsettled you, or you may simply have a sense that things don’t feel quite right without knowing exactly why.

Working together

I see therapy as two people working together with curiosity to make sense of what is happening in your life. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what the problem is, or what you want to change. We can begin with what is there.

My way of working is engaged and conversational. I will listen carefully, but I won’t simply sit silently while you do all the talking. I will be actively alongside you — asking questions, sharing what I notice, wondering with you about things that may be difficult to see on your own and, at times, gently challenging you when I think it might be helpful.

I don’t believe that the therapist has all the answers. Instead, I think there can be something valuable about having another person alongside you as you navigate the difficulties, changes and uncertainties that are part of life.

How I can help

I offer individual counselling and clinical supervision, both in person in London and online. I work in a thoughtful, engaged and flexible way, recognising that each person brings something different to the room.

Introductory Call

First Session

Taking it from there

A free 10–15 minute telephone conversation where we can talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling and you can ask me any questions you may have.

If you would like to go ahead, we can arrange a first session. This is a 50-minute session and costs £75. It is an opportunity to begin exploring what has brought you to therapy and to experience what it is like for us to work together.

At the end of the first session, we can talk about whether you would like to continue. You don't need to make a long-term commitment — we can take things from there.

Thinking about counselling?

If you're considering counselling, you're welcome to get in touch. We can arrange a free introductory call to talk briefly about what has brought you here and whether working together might feel right for you.
